Come join us for the Palo Alto JCC’s Evening with Anita Diamant, New York Times bestselling author of The Red Tent and The Boston Girl. Ms. Diamant’s novels beautifully portray the significance of community and friendship among women, through times of both triumph and despair. In The Red Tent she wrote that “on the day that the intelligence and talents of women are fully honored and employed, the human community and the planet itself will benefit in ways we can only begin to imagine.” Shine On shares this vision, and it underlies so much of what we do.

This event promises to be memorable as we hear from the author who has brought us such resilient and inspiring heroines.

We will be gathering in the lobby beforehand, starting at 7pm, to say hello, and we will have some conversation starter cards to get you chatting with friends you came with or new friends from the Shine On community.
